Bill and his wife, Kirsten, have been married for 17 years. They have three children from age 9 - 13 years old. Bill works as a CPA and attends Colorado Community Church. Bill and his wife have been using Family Time Training materials for 10 years and even led a neighborhood Bible study.
Bill is passionate about teaching children about God and the Bible because that is the foundation of what family is about.
As President of Project 1.27, Shelly combines her personal passion as a foster and adoptive mom of four adult children, two adopted and two biological with a desire to inspire the body of Christ to address the needs of kids in foster care. . Before coming to Project 1.27, Shelly served at MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) International as Director of Ministry Life, Chief of Staff and Interim CEO. As an author, speaker and organizational leader, Shelly is passionate about developing and integrating people, systems and programs to further God’s kingdom and fulfill the vision of a family waiting for every child.

Connection to Family Time: Founded Family Time Training in 1999. Kirk is a former Family Time Team leader and has led more than 550 Family Time activities in his home. Kirk leads more than 80 trainings a year on the topic of spiritual training in the home.
Tim Nielson was raised on a dairy farm in South Dakota. He has since gone on to graduate from Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN with a Major in Youth Ministry. After graduation, he moved to Colorado to attend Denver Seminary where he received an M.Div with a Youth and Family Ministry emphasis.
Tim has served as a youth pastor during the last 12 years in the south Denver area and currently serves as Family Pastor at Calvary Church in Englewood, CO.
Tim has been married to beautiful Amy for 14 years and they have 5 kids ages 10 and under. Together, they love sports (especially baseball), anything out side, hanging out with family, and their church.
James D. Dempsey (Ph.D.–Early Childhood Education) serves as the Family Pastor at Anderson Mill Baptist Church in Austin. He and wife Gail have three grown daughters and four grandchildren. They lead seminars for the National Center For Biblical Parenting and provide training for churches around Texas. He writes a weekly parenting column and monthly newsletter for a Houston child care chain, Young Leaders Campuses, and is a regular contributor to several parenting blogs. His first book, Parenting Unchained-Overcoming the Ten Deceptions that Shackle Christian Parents has spawned a radio show called Parenting Unchained
Cindy works in the Human Resources field and is highly experienced in working with non-profits. She lives and works in Colorado and has her Masters degree from Regis University in Contemporary Leadership. In her spare time, she enjoys mixed media arts and serves as an instructor for those wanting to be creatively expressive.
Staff & Trainers
Kirk Weaver has two children and has been doing Family Time lessons with his family since 1994. In 1999 Kirk founded a new ministry called Family Time Training. The ministry has averaged more than 80 trainings each year to 8,000+ family members. Kirk has written eight books containing Family Time object lessons including: Wiggles, Giggles & Popcorn; Seeing is Believing; Tried & True; Bible Stories for Preschoolers - Old Testament & New Testament.
In 2005 Family Time India was launched in the Indian states of Bihar, Delhi, Uttra Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh. N.K. Thomas is the National Director for Family Time India. In 2011, Family Time did special trainings in both Malaysia and Singapore.
Prior to founding Family Time Training, Kirk worked with the development programs at Colorado Christian Home in Denver (10 years) and Epworth Children’s Home in St. Louis (8 years).
Kirk has earned degrees from Wheaton College and the University of Missouri. Between the years 1983 and 1991, Kirk pursued the hobby of mountain climbing and summitted numerous peaks including: Mt. McKinley in Alaska, Aconcagua in Argentina, Mt. Cook in New Zealand, and Chimborazo in Ecuador. He now lives in Littleton, Colorado and devotes his time to the greater challenge of raising his children in the faith.

Jenna Hallock started doing Family Time activities shortly after her daughter was born 14 years ago. Since then, she and her husband Mark have integrated home discipleship into their regular schedule with both their children (Zoe, age 14 and Elijah, age 11). Mark and Jenna have been married for 17 years and live in Littleton, CO.
Jenna graduated from the University of Colorado in 2002 and enjoys being a pastor's wife, PTO mom, blogger, and staff here at Family Time! Jenna and Mark are passionate about raising up the next generation to know and love Jesus and are blessed to serve Calvary Church, Englewood.
Trainer: Michele Stamn
Michele is a mom who has been doing Family Time with her own children for nearly seven years. She and her husband Jeff have found Family Time to be a very effective way to pass their Christian faith on to their children (now ages 18, 15 and 11). Michele's passion for Family Time was ignited by seeing just how well it has worked with her own family, inspiring her to join the Family Time team as a trainer. Her goal as a speaker is to make family devotions fun and easy-to-do for other parents. Michele uses humor, personal stories, and her own family's experience with Family Time to encourage parents to give it a try in their own homes. Michele lives in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and offers trainings in this area of the country.
Trainer: Boomer Roland
Boomer has been serving children, teens and parents for over 20 years. Drawing on his experience with families he uses his passion for speaking and encouragement to help equip parents to succeed at life's most important job--parenting. Trainer: Matt Strid
Matt is the associate pastor at Red Rocks Fellowship in Littleton, Colorado. Matt and Jenni have three children and have been married for 16 years. Matt is a graduate from Denver Seminary and the University of Colorado. He is also a certified trainer for the National Center for Biblical Parenting and an itinerant speaker for christian camps and other organizations.
